DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to bring back one of our favourite resin workshops; Ocean Clocks! This is a step up from our ocean boards class\, so it is helpful if you have done this class\, but is not essential. We will be working on round wooden boards to create your own ocean inspired clocks\, including hands that tick! Makes a great Mothers Day gift. Just sayin’… \nOur studio in Myaree is BYO drinks\, so please don’t forget to bring a beverage to paint with. We encourage you to pair your drink with one of our delicious grazing boxes you can select as an ‘add-on’ when booking to help you get in the creative zone. \nWhat you need to know: \n\nWhere: The Cab Canvas Studio (2/17 Hulme Court\, Myaree)\n\n\nWhen: Sunday the 16th of June\, 2024\n\n\nTime: Arrive at 1:45pm for a 2.00pm start\n\n\nDuration: Class will run for approximately 1.5 – 2 hours depending on how long you take to create your masterpiece\n\nPlease note\, when resin is mixed it creates a chemical reaction that releases toxins. These can be harmful for pregnant woman or those with respiratory issues. This workshop is also not suitable for children. \nPickup: \nYou will need to leave the boards to cure overnight and collect your artworks the following week 9:00am – 3pm\, Monday\, Wednesday & Friday. Please note\, due to storage limitations\, we are only able to hold your work for 7 days. DESCRIPTION:In this class we teach you how to use resin for the first time and go through the steps to re-create these beautiful resin ocean boards—the perfect addition to your coffee table or as a cheese platter! \n*Please note resin board shape/style may be different to pictured. \nWhat you need to know: \n\nWhere: The Cab Canvas Studio (2/17 Hulme Court\, Myaree)\n\n\nWhen: Sunday the 18th of August\, 2024\n\n\nTime: Arrive at 1.45pm for a 2.00pm start\n\n\nDuration: Class will run for approximately 1.5—2 hours\n\nPlease note\, when resin is mixed it creates a chemical reaction that releases toxins. These can be harmful for pregnant woman or those with respiratory issues and is not suitable for children to attend.  \nPickup: \nYou will need to leave the boards to cure overnight and collect your artwork the following week 9:00am – 3pm\, Monday & Wednesday. DESCRIPTION:Get your hands dirty with our Ceramic Vase Pottery Workshop. Create your own unique vase to display some gorgeous flowers in! \nGrab your friends and come spend your Sunday afternoon having fun playing with clay and relaxing in our studio. \nIn this workshop\, we will cover a number of beginner-friendly techniques to get you started on your journey into the wonderful world of hand-built ceramics! No pottery experience needed\, our in-house ceramic artist will guide you from start to finish 🤩 \nWhat you need to know: \n\nWhere: The Cab Canvas Studio (2/17 Hulme Court\, Myaree)\n\n\nWhen: Sunday the 8th of September\, 2024\n\n\nTime: Arrive 1:45pm for a 2pm start\n\n\nDuration: Class will run for approximately 2—2.5 hours\n\nIncluded in your ticket price is: \n\n2–2.5 hours of clay-making\nExpert guidance by our ceramic artist\nAll pottery equipment & clay provided\nFiring & Glazing by our ceramic artist (choice of glaze – you pick on the day!)\n1 x beautiful ceramic vase you can brag about!\n\nImportant Details: \nYour piece will be glazed and fired after the workshop is finished. The cost of this is included in the ticket price. \nThere is a wait time of 4- 6 weeks before you can collect your finished piece. This is the time it takes to dry\, glaze and fire your amazing creations. A huge amount of care is exercised when finishing off your handmade items. \nPlease note that clay is unpredictable and on rare occasions\, items break in the kiln. This is all a natural part of the fun of perfecting your craft.
