DESCRIPTION:Get outside and immerse yourself in nature with our En Plein Air painting workshop. This phrase is literally French for “in plain air” and is a beloved traditional practice among watercolour painters in particular. Led by our bubbly watercolour expert\, Britt\, she will guide you through the process of painting realistic landscapes based on what you can see.\n\nAs always\, our workshops are targeted at beginners\, but Britt has extensive experience and knowledge on the craft\, so more advanced painters will still get a lot out of this workshop.\n\nWhat you need to know: \n\nWhere: Marmion Reserve in Alfred Cove\nWhen: Saturday the 27th of April\, 2024\nTime: Arrive at 10.15am for a 10.30am start… Sharp!\nDuration: Class will run for approximately 2—2.5 hour\nOptional Add on: Want to keep your materials and pick this up as a hobby? Purchase our watercolour craft kit for the reduced workshop price of $59!\n\nInclusions:\n\nAll required watercolour materials and equipment\nStep-by-step guidance from our friendly watercolour expert\, Brittany Manifis\nA fun day out!\n\nVenue Info:  \nPark and meet at the Melville Junior Football Clubrooms\, then we will walk over to location. Please note we will be painting outside\, so come prepared with a hat\, chair\, thermos etc whatever you need to feel comfortable! \nIncase of wet weather\, the workshop will still proceed\, but be moved to our studio located at 2/17 Hulme Court\, Myaree (only a 2 minute drive from the park) \nAbout Cabernet & Canvas \nOur classes are designed to be fun\, social and achievable for beginners. Come on your own or bring a friend. Our artist will walk you through the process step-by-step whilst offering suggestions on how to individualize your artwork. Anyone and everyone is welcome.
